MDT 102107 LSS CHASSIS SYSTEM Savage Models 10, 11, 12, 16* – Short Action – RIGHT HAND

The MDT LSS Chassis converts a short barrelled bolt action rifle to an external box magazine fed rifle with improved accuracy (by up to 21%). Features stylish ergonomic design, lightweight and durable construction. Allows the use of AR-15 buttstocks and grips.
The free-floating modular forend will accommodate barrels up to 1″ diameter.
The chassis system is made from billet 6061-T6 aluminum with Cerakote™ finish.

COMPATIBILITY:
The LSS Chassis system was designed for use with collapsible AR-15 buttstocks. Fixed buttstocks can be used with adaptors only.
Uses AICS style external box style magazines in .223 and .308 caliber for Short Action rifles and .300WM or .338LM AICS style magazines for Long Action.
Hole spacing for Magpul L5 (11 slot) and L3 (7 slot) Rails
The max. thickness of recoil lug recommend is .350″ (8.9mm)

*For Savage rifles with the bolt release at the bottom, the bolt release can be engaged through the side of the chassis, using a pin or tool. (Not included)
